Presenting the evaluation

The group created a powerpoint to show how we have evaluated the strengths and weaknesses of the product. We looked at what we have learnt, who would distribute our film and we analysed which convention we conformed to or challenged.

We used a powerpoint to help illustrate our points clearly but accompanied this with verbal elaboration. As each member of the group shared the slides equally we read out hte main points of the slides and added bits and pieces along the way.

I felt it was a good exercise because it made me consider how important the research into convention was in helping us produce a successful teen comedy. It also helped us to collaborate our audience feedback results and to look at what the audience really thinks.

Finding a song

We had a lot of idea, about whcih songs w0uld fit well, but as non of them came from a copy right source we couldnt use them.
We looked at using garage band but none of the content that was suitable for our film was longer than 30 seconds (we needed about 40 seconds worth of sound)
As a result we scoured the intterent looking for a copyright source.
We found a song called "goodbye stereo" from musicglue.com

Editing

After several attempts of uploading the footage, we were able to edit the footage together quickly. The preliminary task gave us the knowledge and know ho to use the macs efficiently. Again the story board also meant we knew which pieces of footage had to go where. As we expected soem footage was not useable but because we had re shot most of the scenes a couple of times, we simply selected the best take.

As we watched the footage we became aware that we had used a song as a ring tone that was not copyright free.

After we added titles and seemingly finshed we then decided that the last few scenes of the girls had bad contiuty and needed to be reshot. This was easily done and then reedited
